We are happy to now offer the Kelly SHU® Tommyz; an integrated shock mount microphone platform for tom drums ranging from 8 inches to 12 inches in diameter, with an added option to accommodate 13-inch drum shells. Each Kelly SHU Tommyz Includes:

The Kelly SHU® Tommyz drum microphone system installs easily into drum shells with no drilling required for installation. Each Kelly SHU® Tommyz unit is packaged with one of our Plugz series XLR cables which routes your XLR connection through the factory air vent of your drum shell.

FOR 13-inch DRUM SHELLS:
Use the option in the drop-down menu to order units for 13-inch drums. These units include a set of longer installation leathers to use in place of the ones in the Tommyz package.

Internal Tom Drum Microphones work best when installed on a shock-mount system. Kelly Concepts, LLC, makers of the patented Kelly SHU® brand of drum microphone shock mount systems, is happy to introduce the Kelly SHU® Tommyz into the drum and pro audio marketplace.  The Kelly SHU® Tommyz is an integrated shock mount microphone platform for tom drums ranging from 8 inches to 12 inches in diameter. There is also an added option through our direct site to fit your 13-inch drum shells.

The Kelly SHU® Tommyz drum microphone system installs easily into drum shells with no drilling required for installation. The system utilizes existing hardware screws as attachment points for the solid rubber isolation cord system. Each Kelly SHU® Tommyz unit is packaged with one of our Plugz series XLR cables which routes your microphone’s XLR connection through the factory air vent of your drum shell.

Note: These systems are designed for use with very small-format microphones. When installing, be sure that nothing will make contact with the drumheads or drum shell during play of the drum. We highly recommend sE Electronics® v-beat microphones for use with the Kelly SHU® Tommyz. Their form-factor is very friendly with the design and function of the Kelly SHU® Tommyz mounting system.
